WHAT MEMBERS SAY

What I enjoy about office hours is the opportunity to ask Daisy questions about training issues and have her respond, as well as other people there. It also is so helpful to hear other people’s challenges and have that discussed. Office hours enables me to feel a personal connection with Daisy and the group.

Aimee // Agility Challenge Member

As a long time member of the Challenge I can always count on extra help
from Daisy and other members during Office Hours.

Most importantly for me is that I love hearing Daisy's voice and the passion
she brings each and every time to the "Office".

Jules // Agility Challenge Member

I really enjoy the more academic aspects of office hours, listening to Daisy parse through a behavior and label the different aspects.
For example, her definitions of the differences between a "behavioral drift" and "Pavlovian interference" have been illuminating for me.

Mina // Agility Challenge Member

Office hours helped me because I could ask anything.. And Daisy would answer... I could send a map or a handwritten drawing so she could see what I was talking about, or a video of some blunder I had made on course, or my dog being a nut case.. All these things and Daisy would help!

Sloane // Agility Challenge Member

Remember how good it feels to gather with your friends for happy hour to talk about your career and relationships? That’s how I feel about office
hours. It’s a time I look forward to every week to meet with friends and talk about dog training.

Robin // Agility Challenge Member

As much as I can't often participate live I do listen and submit questions.  If stuck you get not only Daisy's wisdom and experience but that of other Agility Handlers as well.  It is a supportive environment and a chance for live discussion on a regular basis.

Anne // Agility Challenge Member

Office Hours provides me the opportunity to directly ask Daisy about any training problem and get immediate feedback, which results in improved training outcomes.

A wide range of topics are discussed and one never knows which direction the conversation may go!

There is a real sense of community. A realization that I am not alone on my training and competition journey. I appreciate Daisy’s honesty, diplomacy, knowledge, and her continued growth as a trainer, competitor, and coach.

Shirley // Agility Challenge Member

I enjoy office hours either live or recorded for so many reasons.

How it has helped me- how hasn’t it! The topic is just not how to train dogs. Daisy covers every aspect - actual handling, mental stress, diet, fitness for both human and canine, travel tips and the list goes on. My favorite part - understanding that in some ways training is whack a mole. Solve one issue, another pops up. Understanding that while every team is different no problem is unique and can be solved.

I keep coming back for 2 main reasons- the overall sense of community- the energy is always positive and uplifting and secondly- I take away some bit of knowledge. It may not apply to an issue I have today but it is knowledge!

Different from other training- It is completely comprehensive. Nothing is omitted and it is not a preset topic. Love that any question can be asked anytime.

Looking for to the next office hours.

Dog agility is my life, and my passion!

I started Office Hours in 2020 when everything shut down. What began as a way to stay connected became the place where I teach what I actually believe - that pursuing excellence doesn't kill joy, it creates the deepest, most sustainable fun possible.

I got hooked on the sport in 1998, when I was still working on my Masters Degree in Math & Science Education. Teaching is also my passion! Teaching dog agility brings together my love of teaching and of helping others be the best they can be in the sport of dog agility.

I started teaching online in 2011, when I realized just how many people I could help all over the world! Several years later, The Agility Challenge was formed. Through The Agility Challenge, I've helped thousands of agility handlers from all over the world on their dog agility journey.

Some of my most memorable successes have come from the accomplishments of my students and Agility Challenge Members. Nothing brightens my day quite like hearing from a Member who has been helped by feedback and content in The Agility Challenge! I hope you'll join me and the rest of The Agility Challenge Contributors!

I am looking forward to working with you,
